About the Hondata reflash:

Notes

  • Installation by AJ Performance takes 3 days
  • Hondata reflash is provided separately so that those who want to tune with something else can do so. Additionally, customers outside of the US and Canada are not eligible to get a Hondata reflash. The AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller or the Greddy e-Manage Ultimate can be used instead of the Hondata reflash.
  • Fuel Return Kit: This kit provides additional fuel when you increase the boost. It is an external fuel pressure regulator. Normally, your shop can build one for you but if not, we can put one together for you.
  • Modified Oil Pan: The turbo is oil-cooled. You will need to drill a hole and mount a fitting in your oil pan. You can do it, your shop can do it or we can do it with this option.
  • Customers in colder climates are experiencing boost cut when racing, even with the boost controller off. This can only be fixed with an AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller, Greddy e-Manage Ultimate or other aftermarket tuning device.
  • The AJP 3″ downpipe is designed to work with the AJP 3″ exhaust. All other exhaust systems will require modification to fit with the downpipe.
  • You will need gauges, both wideband and boost controller. You can use AEM or any other set.

AJP Road Monster Package

If 376 whp is not enough for you, we have the AJP Road Monster Package, which puts the AJP turbo kit on top of a built motor. You will get significantly more wheel horsepower when you leave our shop. Plus you will rest easy knowing that your engine is that much safer.

The Standard version will get you around 500 whp. The block is not sleeved. Turnaround time is 2 weeks from the day you drop your car off at the shop.

The Advanced version will get you around 700 whp. The block is sleeved. Turnaround time is 3 weeks from the day you drop your car off at the shop.

If you already own an AJP turbo kit, we can build the motor and then reinstall the turbo kit.

If you install the turbo kit and the built motor at the same time, you get an $800 discount off the $1200 normal installation price. That means you pay only $400.

We also recommend that you upgrade your clutch. We like the Carbonetic Twin-Disc but you can buy your own. We will install your clutch for free with your built motor.

Call us to confirm that your clutch is compatible.

Lastly, you should upgrade your wheels and purchase drag slicks for track use. You will not be able to hook properly with drag radials.
