V-band inlet option adds low-end power to turbo

Here at PRI in Orlando, FL, Precision Turbo introduced a new V-band clamp inlet option to the turbo that powers the AJP turbo kit, the 6262S. By doing away with the T4 flange, the turbo delivers more power to the low end, the installation is faster and simpler and there is no more gasket to deal with.

There is no price increase for this feature.

AJP is definitely considering this option. It would require redesigning the turbo exhaust manifold to accommodate the V-band clamp but the benefits far outweigh the costs.
