New Snail Makes Big Power in AJP Turbo Kit
The AJP Turbo kit for the Honda Civic Si took a giant leap forward with the new Precision 6262S turbo.
According to Ron, “It makes crazy power really easily.”
The inclusion of the venerable 6169 unit came to an end this past summer when Precision Turbo informed us of declining quantities and delays in restocking. Our hand was forced, so we went with the 6262S, hoping that its faster spool time would not conflict with the Hondata reflash.
Our initial results have come back extremely positive. Julio is one of our first customers to enjoy the extra kick in the gut.
It makes power faster due to the billet turbine wheel. The billet design allowed the wheel to be lighter while keeping the same strength. Thus, it spools faster by some 100 rpm.
All videos from here on out will feature the new turbo. This turbo is for sale in our new store.
While the 6262S cost more than the 6169S, we did not increase the cost of the kit.
