Installing the Dyno

Dyno installation

AJ Performance dynamometerThe dyno arrived yesterday evening and the boys went right to work. Getting it out of the truck was a monster job, but no bones were broken. They worked on it until 4:00AM and then came back in this morning to keep going!

This picture was taken with my wide angle fisheye lens, so you can see its length. Cars will come in the back (right-hand side) and drive up to the big window.

Corey measures twice, moves once

Corey uses the time-honored wisdom of measuring twice, moving the dyno once. Charles, Ron, Corey take a break from dyno installation

Charles (left), Ron and Corey take a break from the installation – temperatures hovered in the low 90s and a blanket of storm clouds ensured humidity somewhere close to 100%. And yes, you can tell who the nicotine fiends are.

Here’s the controller up close (left). This thing should come up to speed soon.

Hi Jorge,
Thanks for the compliment. More pictures on the way.

We’re all glad the dyno is finally here. First the thing was due on Wednesday, then Thursday and finally Friday. The guys have been working on it like busy bees.

I’ll keep track of it as it comes together.

That’s strange – it should be white text on a red background. What browser are you using?
