Honda Civic Si travels from Mississippi to AJ Performance

Nothing made Badin (bah-DIN) happier than getting his 2007 Honda Civic Si this past January. But like most young men, he was faced with the never-ending question: how do I get more horsepower? Based on his friend Kevin’s recommendation, he chose the AJ Performance turbo kit over Greddy. He then decided to get it installed correctly the first time by having AJ Performance do the install.

He left his hometown of Gulfport, MS at 10:30AM, August 14, 2007 with his good friend Seth, and arrived in South Florida some 12 hours later. Finding all of the local hotels booked solid, the two spent the rest of the night in the Hotel d’Honda finally checking into a room at a La Quinta hotel in the morning.

Over the next several days, the two watched the car’s engine get torn apart and rebuilt with the new turbo kit. They also took in the local scene over at Miami Beach, among other places. In this picture, Badin, (r.) and Seth watch Ron enter the car’s information for the dyno runs. When the car finally rolled off the dyno Friday night, they could not have been happier to drive home with 361.4 horses underneath the hood.

At the end, Badin proudly displays his dyno sheet. He was hoping to get back to Gulfport in time for his weekly meet so that he could show his car off.
