Motors and welding and dyno, oh my!
Saturday is normally a shorter work day for AJ Performance but not with a dyno. Several cars came through the garage, with varying amounts of work. Here is a picture of three different cars getting worked on. The Civic on the dyno belongs to blog member and the Accord on the lift belongs to blog member SlowK.
Here are some beauuuuutiful shots of sivicsi’s 2006 Honda Civic SI with AJP turbo kit on the dyno. It passed with flying colors. Perhaps he can tell us the final numbers on that? Sivicsi has been down here a couple of times this past week, all the way from Port St. Lucie, so I’m sure he’s glad to stay put for a while.
Meanwhile, SlowK’s Honda Accord was slowly coming back to life. Rob, the mechanic, was busy reassembling the pieces. Papo did a bit of welding as well. Unfortunately, SlowK would not be able to get his car onto the dyno due to the dyno laptop not communicating with the fuel management system. His car’s dyno day would be postponed, but only for a few days.

Sorry to hear about your original turbo. Hopefully, you can wrap this thing up and roar out.
Pizza and beer makes for happy tuners, and happy tuners can mean more…well, I can’t speak for the tuner, but let’s just say that pizza and beer are a small price to pay for potentially more horsepower.
