AJP Shop Car Flexes Its Muscle

With a belly full of Thanksgiving fixin’s, Ron decided to kick off Black Friday by shopping for horsepower.

He didn’t have to look far.

They were in abundance underneath the hood of the shop car, just waiting to come out. With a cool breeze blowing through, the beast motor roared to life. Felito sat behind the wheel, Ron watched the computer and Papo helped with the adjustments and tweaking.

We are now in chapter 3 of the turbo kit. The first was the introduction of the kit to the world, while the second was its rise to 510 whp at 20 psi.

But yesterday’s peaks become today’s valleys. Now it was time to start at 20 psi and see where it led. It only took a handful of runs to establish its new base point - 539 whp at 20 psi.
