AJP Dyno Day In Pictures
With temperatures in the mid-90s and repeated forecasts of Tropical Storm Fay on television, 20 cars and many more people came out for the AJ Performance 2WD Dyno Day.
It was an accident-free day, just a little rain and on the whole, a day that went well.
AJP thanks everyone who came and showed their support, especially to XS Energy Drink, Euro Export and Power Rev Racing for their display tables.

The AJP shop car had no problem making its presence felt in the middle of a packed parking lot and gas station. Somewhere in Hialeah Gardens, FL, is a place where hundreds of people congregate to show off their cars.
Oscar’s friend Sandor signaled Ron to go for it and for a few minutes, Ron revved it, generating a crowd around the car. It was the perfect advertisement for our Dyno Day.
AJP Shop Car Publicizes Dyno Day
The AJP shop car braved a crowded parking lot at 11pm in Hialeah Gardens, FL, just west of Hialeah, to generate interest in our dyno day this Saturday.
A gas station owner discovered a novel way to generate income by shutting down his station on Wednesday nights and allowing cars to congregate. The place was packed wall-to-wall with cars of all types. Lots of people milled around, checking out the latest cars. Audio systems shook the grounds from time to time.

Another AJP Turbo on a Fully-Built Motor
Oscar, the first owner of the AJP production turbo kit with a fully-built motor, did not have to wait long to have competition. Hot on his heels comes Sean, from Laurel, MD, who drove his black 2006 Honda Civic SI down from Maryland to build his motor and install the AJP turbo kit with the AEM FIC.
In mid-April 2008, Sean decided to check us out here at AJP. Having done his research, he was impressed with the power gains of the AJP turbo kit. Just sitting behind the wheel of the shop car and revving the motor gave him goosebumps. The test drive sealed it for him and he committed to bringing his car down for the build and installation.

AJP Turbo Customer Prefers AJP Over Disney World
Vy (pronounced Vee) had a big smile on his face after his ride in the AJP shop car. And for him, it was better than all of the Disney World rides.
He, his lovely wife and kids flew down from Springfield, MA to Florida for vacation. They spent several days in Orlando taking in the sights and sounds of Disney World. But Vy took a day trip down to visit us here at AJP to take in the sights and sounds of our shop car.
AJP Turbo Kit Breaks the 8.5 psi Barrier with Help of AEM FIC
Oscar keeps a license plate holder on his dashboard with some very simple instructions:
Get In. Sit Down, Shut Up, Hold On.
This pretty much sums up his car more than ever. He may not have kicked the bottle habit but he’s a turbo addict now. Not only did he get his car back with more power than he had before when he was on nitrous, but he can rest easy that his motor won’t get ruined the way the 100-shot destroyed it.
In addition to the AJP FG2 turbo kit, his car also came with the AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller. Since the beginning, customers were limited to 8.5 psi of boost. Now we can now turn up the boost and blast out another boatload of horsepower.
AJP Rebuilds Oscar’s Motor
Oscar was addicted to the bottle - the nitrous bottle, that is. But what to do with his dead stock motor, which was destroyed by numerous 100-shot nitrous? He decided to build the motor and install an AJP turbo kit with an AJP ported and polished intake manifold. Plus an AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller on top of the standard Hondata reflash that will give him more than the normal 8.5 psi.
Oscar’s motor went from dead to solid muscle. Check out the pictures of the motor, turbo exhaust manifold, pistons, wastegate, head, downpipe and injector wiring.
